2 lb brisket, pickled
2 packages Tuscanini gnocchi, cooked
2 onions, sliced
oil, for sautéing
4 garlic, minced
1 t salt
1 1/2 T sugar
10 oz mushroom, sliced
24 oz broccoli florets
1/2 c sweet barbecue sauce

Meat
Preheat oven to 300
Leave brisket in the sealed bag
Place in a deep 9×13″ baking pan and cover completely with water
Cover tightly and bake 2 hours
Turn brisket over to other side
Add more water if necessary
Continue baking 1-2 hours depending on size and thickness of brisket
(Bake an hour for each pound of meat)
Remove from oven and shred using 2 forks

Sauce
In a large saucepan, sauté onions in oil until translucent
Stir in garlic, salt and sugar
Add mushrooms, broccoli and barbecue sauce
Let simmer 2-3 minutes
Combine gnocchi with sauce
Serve meat over gnocchi
