3-4 tablespoons oil
1 onion thinly sliced
1 tsp salt
1 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp black pepper
2 cloves garlic chopped
7 fresh white mushrooms sliced in quarters
13 Oz bag Roasted chestnuts sliced
2 tablespoons flour
1 1/2 cups tuscanini white wine
3 cups water
1 pack tuscanini mini gnocchi (don’t precook)

Directions
1 in a large saucepan heat oil over medium high heat. Add the onions, salt, brown sugar,and black pepper saute until golden brown
(About 10-15 minutes) Add the garlic, mushrooms, and chestnuts. Cook for 2-3 minutes until mushrooms are caramelized.

2. Stir in flour, mixing well add the wine and water and bring to a boil

3. Add the mini gnocchi (straight from the package) and simmer on low until the mixture has thickend (about 5-7 minutes) stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.

Tip: the liquid tends to absorb into the gnocchis. Feel free to add additional water until desired consistency wen reheating.
