A Cooking Video Contest for The Most Talented Teenagers

 

We know there are so many teens who are up to incredible things in the kitchen.

This contest is your chance to shine. 🌟

To enter the contest,  please submit a video of yourself cooking or baking.

At the end of the submission period, on June 20, 11:59pm ET, videos will be voted on by the public, and the top 3 with the most votes will win a prize!

FAQ:

How old do I need to be to enter?

The contest is for ages 13-18.

Does it matter where I live?

No, the contest is open to any teen, anywhere in the world.

Can I submit more than one video?

No, one entry per person please.

How long should my video be?

There is no strict maximum length but we strongly recommend keeping it to 2 minutes or less, so that the most people will watch your video.

What format should my video be in?

Upload your video to YouTube, Vimeo, or Instagram and paste the URL in the submission form box. Video must be publicly available in order for it to show up on the contest voting platform, so please make sure it is not set to private.

Do I need to show my face in the video?

No, just your hands is fine. Or even stop motion is fine if that’s your style! But the video must be made by the person whose name is on the submission.

How is the winner picked?

Everyone can vote on their favorite videos. The top 3 with the most votes will win the prizes.

What are the prizes?

You will have a choice of one of the prizes shown on the banner above: a hoverboard, JBL speaker, gift card, or airpods! You will also get a Bakebox!

What should my video be about?

It should be a video of you preparing a dish. Baking, cooking, anything is good. It doesn’t have to be a recipe at all- you can also show a technique, or decorate, or plate your food in a creative way, or anything you like as long as it has to do with food and that people would enjoy watching!

Does it need to be an original recipe?

Original recipes are great! But not required.

If you have a recipe that goes with the video and you’d like to share it, add it into the description box so people will be able to view it.

When is the contest?

Submissions end June 20, 11:59pm. Voting will be from Monday to the following Sunday, June 27.
